Michael: Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a quick look at the self-closing RV cabinet hinges. These are a flush mount design and spring loaded, so they will provide constant pressure for your RV cabinet door to ensure that it stays closed so you don't have to worry about the cabinet doors opening and slamming shut causing a lot of noise or potentially allowing the contents of the cabinet to fall out. They are going to help keep that door closed. Because they are a flush mount design, you're not going to have to cut in to your cabinet at all.
They will just sit right up against, and once you drill the hardware in they will rest there and allow you to open and close that cabinet door.Do want to give you a few measurements to make sure that this is going to work for your application. So our total height, you can see, is right there about 2 3/4 of an inch. Our total width of this hinge part that's going to be sticking out, I'm going to say it's right about 1/2 inch of the visible portion. Then our mounting plate here that's going to be hidden, it's going to be right there about an inch and a quarter wide and right about an inch and a half tall.You are going to get two of these hinges and all the hardware that you need to get them installed. This is an antique brass finish, as you can see, so that should blend in well with your color scheme in your RV if you have antique brass hardware.
This does come with a limited lifetime warranty from JR Products so if you we're to have any problems with it, you could call them and they could help you out with that but I really don't think you're going to have any issues. This seems like a solid hinge that will do a good job of keeping that door closed for you with that spring loaded action there.That's really all there is to this self-closing RV cabinet hinge. Comes with mounting screws.Although the hinges are described as "antique brass" the color was actually antique nickel." There was no golden coloration to them at all, which means they would not match the rest of the hardware in my camper.
Since the shipping cost would be deducted from the refund, with an item this small, there is little point in returning it.

One year later & cabinet hinges working fine. They were replacement for identical hinges that failed due to metal fatigue & cracking. An improperly placed strut caused the failure.
